Aloha Kākou

Brendon Kaleiʻāina Lee is highly accomplished with a distinguished record of achievements. In his role as At-Large Trustee, he demonstrated exceptional leadership skills by instituting effective governance for OHA and updating the by-laws for the first time in 13 years. He also introduced a new endowment investment model and worked diligently on rebalancing the Native Hawaiian Trust portfolio. Furthermore, he orchestrated the Iwilei acquisition, showcasing his strategic acumen and ability to deliver results.

The ʻOhana

A proud son of Benson & Toni Lee born and raised in Pearl City, Oʻahu. A 1987 Graduate of Kamehameha Schools and returned to serve as a President of the Alumni Association and Member of the Poʻokula Advisory Committee. He is a dedicated family man, married to Kimberly Gay, a father of three, with one grandchild.

Small Kid Time

His upbringing in Hawaii allowed him to fully experience his rich cultural heritage. His grandmother, Mary Lee, was one of the kupuna founders of Protect Kahoʻolawe, and she instilled in him the importance of preserving our cultural traditions. Spending summers in Hoʻolehua on Molokaʻi, he witnessed firsthand the significance of cultural preservation, which inspired him to become more involved.

Through the Years

He is a highly experienced trained Parliamentarian and lifelong member of the Pearl Harbor Hawaiian Civic Club. He is dedicated to advocating for Native Hawaiian issues and is well-equipped to ensure that the voices of Native Hawaiians are heard. With his expertise in navigating complex political landscapes, he played a key role in advancing the cause of Native Hawaiian self-determination as Chairman of the 2016 Aha Native Hawaiian Governance Convention. Currently, he is serving on the Pearl City Neighborhood Board.
